Aero/acrobatics
Man is destined for the stars! So let us take flight. But Beware… one false move and it’s The End. Why is danger so compelling? As we ascend, the risks become more prevalent, as does the beauty.
Humans are drawn to perceived danger, and we crave both height and depth. Aerobatics is innately fascinating. It combines the grace and elegance of dance with the strength and hardiness of olympiad level gymnastics, acrobatics and climbing. Not only beautiful in its extention and expression, but dangerous and difficult from the outset. The higher the act, the more exciting the experience!
Aerobatics can be conducted in many ways. Anything that requires suspension in the air can be performed in an aerobatic way. Here are some examples of different aerial equipment that we use:
SILKS
The silks are two matched pieces of long, wide, flowing fabric that can provide striking imagery and beautiful, emotive play and form. Ideal working height is at least 6 meters, with 3 meters of stage, and can be performed solo, synchronized or as a duet.

STRAPS/SLINGS
Two matched pieces of long, tought straps that are either a loop, or have a hand loop at the bottom. These acts can be incredibly dynamic and high energy, and require a significant level of base-strength to perform. Big drops and power-moves! Ideal working height is at least 4 meters, with 6 meters of stage, can be performed solo, synchronized or as a duet.

HARNESS/WALL-RUNNING
A glorious blend of aerial and ‘floor’ actobatics! Using the harness on a single point against a wall we are able to create brilliant spectacles of ‘low-gravity’ choreography that looks great from below. On a double-point harness, especially with bungy chords, with a counter-weight, we are able to be suspended at great height to perform aerobatics above a crowd! Great fun, tough on the obliques…
